Our Story
Our Humble Studio
The Clay People Ceramic Studio is a creative space that welcomes ceramic enthusiast from all walks of life to manifest their imaginations and crafting them into reality. The studio is run by our head ceramist, Teo Boon Gim who is a veteran in wheel throwing and experienced in ceramic sculptural art. He aims to make this studio a haven for like-minded people, to grow a community that love ceramic arts and pottery.

Head Ceramist: Teo Boon Gim
Boon Gim helms The Clay People Studio.
He began training locally under the apprenticeship of renowned masters like Mr. Chua Soon Khim and Mr. Chua Soo Kim, and Mr. Hassan Solkikly Bin Adul Rahim. He has also travelled the world, improving on his craft by working with artistes from China, Taiwan, and New Zealand. His commissioned works have been presented to ministers and dignitaries around the world.
What We Do
We run workshops in schools, as well as at our studio for adult learners. We have also worked with a range of clients, such as UOB, OCBC, Changi Hospital, for commissioned works, and corporate workshops.

The studio is located within Toa Payoh Industrial Park, situated with many other crafting and production industries that cocreate a peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. We are positioned beside CTE and PIE expressways, nearest to Toa Payoh and Potong Pasir MRT, and most accessible through these bus services: 8, 26, 31, 90, 90A, 142, 151, 151e, 154, 232, 238, 966, 985.
